Centering Prayer is a method of prayer which helps lead us into a more contemplative style of praying. It is not meant to replace other kinds of prayer, but it puts them into a new and fuller perspective. During the time of centering prayer we say "Yes" to God's presence and action within us and we are led to discover God's presence everywhere.
