Funeral Luncheon

Church of the Resurrection offers the use of Emmaus Hall for funeral luncheons. The maximum capacity we can offer assistance with our parish luncheon ambassadors is 50-75 people. We are grateful for our parishioners’ willingness to serve, but do not want to overwhelm them with crowds larger than 75 people. If a family anticipates the luncheon will be more than 75 people, you will need to hire a cater to set up, serve and clean.

If you would like to host a funeral luncheon here, please let the presider know at the time you make the funeral arrangements to make sure Emmaus Hall is available. You are welcome to bring food from anywhere you choose and for groups no larger than 75, our team of ambassadors will help set up, serve the food and provide beverages and baked goods. For groups over 75 please make arrangements with the cater to bring servers to set up, serve and clean up.

Please do not make any arrangements regarding a reception until you have scheduled the funeral and luncheon date and time with the parish. We are very grateful for a donation made out to the Church of the Resurrection for the use of Emmaus Hall.
