The Prayer Shawl Ministry is a heartfelt outreach of comfort, care, and prayer for those who are sick. Parishioners come together to knit shawls that are then blessed and gifted to individuals in need of healing, encouragement, or spiritual support. Each shawl is crafted with love and prayer—infused with the intention that the recipient will feel God’s presence, peace, and compassion wrapped around them.
Shawls are made available free of charge to those who are ill or recovering and anyone who might be grieving a loss.
The Prayer Shawl ministry meet the second and fourth Friday of the month in Bethlehem meeting room at 9:30 AM. If you don’t know how to knit or its been a long time since you have picked up a knitting needle, the group will be happy to teach you.
