Liturgy Committee

The Liturgy Committee serves the parish by helping our community celebrate the Church’s worship in a prayerful, meaningful, and well-prepared way. Working closely with the pastor, and liturgical ministers, the committee reflects on how our parish prays together and plans for the major liturgical seasons of the year — Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and Ordinary Time.

The committee meets three to four times each year, on Sunday afternoon, immediately following the 11am liturgy. The committee reviews the past liturgical season, focus on the upcoming seasons, coordinate themes, rituals and environment. The Liturgy Committee supports the work of the music ministry, lectors, altar servers, and hospitality ministers as well as recommends educational opportunities to enhance the liturgical life of the parish. Their goal is to ensure that every liturgy invites full, conscious, and active participation and helps parishioners grow in faith through the beauty and reverence of our worship.
