Women’s Ministry

The Women’s Ministry Team plans opportunities for women of the parish to gather for spiritual and social enrichment. Events include spiritual book discussions, movie nights, game nights, retreats, presentations. To register for any event contact Sr. Susan Javorek.

  • Social at the Blind Squirrel Winery

    • Friday, August 28th 6-8:00pm; $5 fee'; Bring an appetizer for 8-10 to share.

  • Women’s Retreat at Bethany in Chardon

    • Friday evening to Sunday morning Nov. 13-15; The Gift of Advent; $40 fee

  • Walking the Labyrinth

    • Friday, January 22nd 6-8:00pm; Share a meal, learn about the Labyrinth and walk it.

  • Bread & Soup & Mary’s Way of the Cross

    • Friday, February 19th 6-7:30pm; Share a meal & pray the Stations together

  • Movie Night

    • Thursday, March 18th 6-8:30pm; Enjoy a pizza supper, movie and conversation.

  • Mary Magdalene & Jesus

    • Thursday, April 15th 7pm; Lisa Frey will open-up the encounters between Jesus and Mary Magdalene with references to the Women Witnesses Sculpture.

  • Annual Spirituali-Tea

    • Sunday, May 2nd 2-4pm; Enjoy teas, finger foods and friendship as Millie Prebel speaks on ‘Taking Our Joys & Worries to Mary.’ $25 fee

  • Visit to the Lourdes Shrine on Euclid

    • Saturday, May 2nd 1-4pm; Carpool from Church for a visit to this unique place of prayer.

  • Summer Solstice Celebration

    • Thursday, June 17th 6-8:30; $5 fee
